Exhibiting A Fascinating Organic Silhouette: House In The Hills By Architectare
Displaying a fascinating silhouette in wood, glass and stone, the House in the Hills is an exceptional residential project developed by Architectare in Itaipava, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. “Despite being in a proportionately large lot, the building has its shape defined by the small triangle of its buildable area on the entrance of the lot, resulting from enforcement of the condominium and local legislation“, explained the architects. Various local restrictions dictated a home exposed to the main road, which is why the designers chose an “impermeable”street facade.
The inverse side of the living arrangement is open towards the picturesque landscape, through liberally estimated windows and a beautiful deck associated with the swimming pool. All interiors were imagined in a cutting edge design manner, with an abundance of wood finishes creating a comfortable atmosphere. While the primary level guarantees an ideal interaction between living spaces, the second is more private and hosts the bedrooms. [Photography: Leonardo Finotti]
